Adelaide Eye Care - Professional Optometrists
Adelaide Eye Care's mission is to perfect sight and protect eye health for life. Our experienced and professional Optometrists and our talented frame and lens experts are here to offer you complete eye care.
We look after whole families, and value long-lasting relationships that give us the history to best look after people's eyes, and value trust, respect and friendliness.
We offer services that few optometry practices offer, and we are a referral destination for other optometrists and ophthalmologists. These include medical contact lens fitting for keratoconus, corneal grafts, high prescriptions and ocular trauma; myopia control to reduce the rate of worsening of shortsightedness; comprehensive childrens vision and ocular developmental assessments and management; eye coordination and high prescription care.
Founded in 1982 by Mr Anthony Phillips, Adelaide Eye Care started as a family eye care and contact lens practice in Belair. In 1990, we made our home in Westbourne Park, and in 1998, our commitment to eye care led us to Blackwood.
In 2003, husband and wife optometrists Mr. Rene Malingre and Ms. Liz Capper, assumed the helm, preserving our traditions while enhancing diagnostic technology and optical dispensing. We continued our expansion, venturing into Mawson Lakes in 2008.
Since 2019, our optometry team has expanded to bring the skills and knowledge needed in our advanced services to a new generation of optometrists so that we can continue to offer our preferred standard of care.
Our ongoing growth has allowed our dedicated team of optometrists and optical dispensing experts to expand their diverse skills further, ensuring we continue providing exceptional eye care for our valued patients.
